RALLY FOR SCIENCE ATLANTA

Rally for Science Atlanta is an initiative hosted by Science for Georgia Inc. SAW presented an exhibit in its 2018 rally, featuring artist-scientist partnerships from Emory, Georgia Tech, and the greater Atlanta public. Protesters and viewers were able to see the various pieces created in the Spring semester. Additionally, SAW scientists and artists who came to speak about their works were able to explore the numerous booths that advocated for the study of sciences in today's political atmosphere.

These booths discussed nuanced topics such as climate control, planned parenthood, and other politically fueled discourse that have been at the forefront of today's news. Many of these topics also relate to different research being done among the partnerships we have created, showing our dedication to not just the interdisciplinary studies of art and science, but also how these concepts can be applied in our everyday lives.
