Our world today is built and dependent on an intricate system of electricity that is commonly overseen. Each device we plug in connects to a power grid and becomes a small part of one of the largest machines in the world. As our day-to-day lives become increasingly reliant on these power grids, the research of Dr. Molzhan highlights how these power systems can be optimized to improve their efficiency. Through the manipulation of these different power sources, researchers and system operators will be able to bring electricity to homes and vehicles at high speeds and low costs.
